when we first arrived we took a gondola to the top of another mountain to get some groceries and walked back down to our hostel...we were in a cloud the entire time!
view from our room. imagine being surrounded by huge green mountains with waterfalls everywhich way and just behind them you can see snow capped mountains as well. AMAZING.
we took a short hike, this is what surrounded us.
yay! our hostel had the best view in all of Gimmelwald. 
cassie hiked down to a river, see how green and amazing it is?! with all these cute little cottages everywhere...like the Matterhorn at disneyland except real!SALZBURG
this is the fountain where they sing Do-Re-Me and march around in Sound of Music. it was beautiful there.

i am sixteen going on seventeen gazebo! apparently its not been open for 10 years because some old lady was hopping about the benches and broke her hip. crazy old people.more pictures to come from Vienna in a few days! then we're off to Berlin to meet Kathleen and Jen there too! yay!
