Munich Day 3

Oh Munich was such fun!

On Sunday we went to the modern art museum there which was SO wonderful. We saw all of the greats including two of my all time favorites, Van Gogh and Manet. They had all of the other impressionists...Renior, Monet, Degas, Cezanne, and then even some Delacroix. Afterwards we went for vegetarian kebaps (shwarmas), and then walked around the main city some more before retiring for the evening with a home made veggie dinner via Rachel and a funny movie.

Monday I didn't fly out until 845p so Rachels boyfriends Dad wanted to take us on what he calls "The Girls Tour", and having the cutest old German man drive you around Munich telling you all about the history is like THE BEST DAY EVER. We saw the "ghetto" of Munich which is like the nicest area ever, the Olympic area, BMW headquarters, museums, Opera house, gate to the city, and then he took us to the old palace! We had walked right by there the other day and didn't even know it was there! (all the buildings are old and huge so you never know whats the Siemens headquarters are and whats a 500 year old palace.) Then we got pretty cakes and tea before visiting these beautiful spice shops. Me and Rachel DIED!!!

Inside the palace.
